What has changed and improved in Visor, newest first.
New
2K portrait videos from your description alone
When you make a video from a description alone, with no picture or voice, a new option, Premium 2K, makes it at 1440p, portrait, 5, 8, 10, 12 or 15 seconds long, at its own price shown on the create button. It is open to accounts that have topped up at least once. If it cannot make your video, Default makes it instead and only the Default price is charged.
In some browsers opened inside other apps, a button that asks before it acts (such as redoing a scene or deleting) could do nothing when pressed. The question now appears right under the button, and confirming it goes ahead.
Improved
Ads and films say which languages their lines can be in
The ad and film forms now list the languages the spoken lines can be in, before you start. If a film is stopped because its lines ask for a language our voices can't speak yet, its page now names that language.
Fixed
A line moved between Narration and Dialogue keeps its speaker
When you review the script or redo a scene of an ad or short film, a line you move from the Narration box to the Dialogue box (or back) is still said by the character who said it, when that character is in the scene.
Improved
Conversations play in turn; redo scenes, then assemble once
When two characters talk back and forth in a scene, each turn is now its own shot showing who is speaking, in the order you wrote. On a finished film you can pick “Redo and wait for my review” for each scene you change, then approve the clips to put the film together once.
In the voice picker, there is now a language filter next to the gender and age filters. It lists the languages that have voices, with the language you use first.
New
Use your own photo for each place when you review the script
When you review the script of an ad or short film with characters, you can now give each place your own photo: upload one or pick it from your Library, swap it or remove it. The price shown follows your photos before you approve. In these, real location photos you add at the start no longer slip onto another place when one of them can't be used.
Choosing a voice now shows the whole Shared library
When you chose a voice, the list showed only part of the Shared library, so some voices could not be found. Now every voice shows, and the Shared library can hold many more voices, in many languages.
Fixed
Saved pictures get their background removed, even at busy times
When the system was busy, a character, costume or item picture you saved to your Library could keep its background for good. Now the picture is saved and ready to use at once, and its background is removed by itself as soon as the system is free. Pictures that kept their background before are being redone too.
New
Choose Standard or Premium for music videos, ads and films
Standard, now the default, gets many scenes ready sooner and for fewer credits, while scenes that speak or sing, close faces and key moments still get the most care. Premium gives that care to every scene made from reference images. Choose per video or per scene; the price follows your choice.
The pictures a music video, an ad or a film is built from — its people, places and objects, and the still frames of its scenes — now come back faster. They also cost fewer credits, so the price quoted before anything is made is lower.
New
Every Visor update, in one place
From today, whenever Visor gets a new feature, an improvement or a fix, you'll see a short note like this when you come back. You can read them all again on the What's new page, linked at the bottom of every page.
Improved
Copy motion: a heads-up when the face is hidden
When the character photo you pick doesn't show the face clearly, say a mirror selfie with the phone in front of it, Visor now tells you before the video starts and nothing is charged, so you can choose a clearer photo.
Fixed
Long videos no longer stop during busy hours
At peak times, some multi-scene videos used to stop with a message that the service was at capacity. The remaining scenes now wait their turn and finish as usual.
